Is any of his family still around. I have a friend in Cambridge, Dave Sopha, who is an Artist. He painted the mural “Portraits of Honour” of the Afghan soldiers 158 that died. He now is working on a mural of the 27 Peacekeepers that died in Cyprus. Hoping to find photos of all 27.

Perry was friends with my father William McDonald and the night he passed away he borrowed some rings from my father since he was going out on the town that night in exchange for his I.D. which I still have. Wondering if any family is around. Thanks

Hello, Perry had an uncle his name was Charlie. Charlie changed his name to Oare, dropping the”h”. Charlie had a,daughter whose name was Maryann. I think Charlie passed many years ago however Maryann would be in her ’70’s.

My father, Gordon Edward Latta knew Perry Hoare. They were both in the QOR at the same time. My father was in Cypress at the same time Perry passed away and he helped prepare Perry’s gear/kit for burial as he was the NCO in charge that day… he says it was a very sad day 😢
