Master Warrant Officer Allan William Watson, CD was born in 1939 in Pefferlaw, Ontario, the son of Frank Watson and Muriel Kathleen Greenwood.
He had an illustrious career of 37 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, achieving the rank of Master Warrant Officer. He served with The Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, finishing his career in the Administration Branch. Postings included Calgary, Victoria, Germany, Cyprus, Kingston and Gagetown. He was well respected and held in high esteem by all that worked for him and with him.
For the last forty years, he was an active member of the Legion, an avid gardener and a long-time Nascar fan.
He died on 1 January 2021.
