Roussell, Dyton Vaughan

SL 162662 Rifleman Dyton Vaughan Roussell was born 18 May 1937.

He enlisted in the Regular Army 31 Marcy 1960 at Regina, Saskatchewan and completed his recruit training with the Queen’s Own Rifles Regimental Depot in Calgary. He was posted to the 1st Battalion where he first served with C Company and then became a member of the regimental police staff.

He joined the battalion bugles in 1961 and remained with them until is death on 28 September 1962 while on leave in Holland.

He was survived by his father, Mr. Nelson Roussell, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and was buried in Werl Military Cemetery, Germany on 4 October 1962 with full military honours.
