Dear Uncle,
Am home on last leave, as you see you never know where you are in the army. We were warned 10 A.M. yesterday morning & away in the afternoon we are supposed to entrain on the 6 Oct.
Do not send any mail to Bn as it will only be held up till we reach England if writing send to above address.
Hoping the Germans to not reach you, I remain Yours pugnaciously till we reach Berlin. [??]
