WO I G. A. Naylor, CD was a veteran of the 2nd World War, a qualified paratrooper, and a Staff Sergeant in the 2nd Battalion before being appointed as its Regimental Sergeant Major from November 1963 to August 1965. He was appointed as RSM of the Regimental Training Depot 29 August 1965 to 1966.
