B155284 Rifleman LIoyd McCombs was born on June 2, 1920 in Fonthill, Ontario, the son of Harley O. McCombs and Erie C. Neff and husband of Annabelle McCombs, of Crowland, Ontario.

He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army on December 7, 1941 and served with the Queen’s Own Rifles in Kiska and Europe during World War II.

LIoyd was killed in action On August 10, 1944 in Bretteville, France.
