Lieutenant G.M.D. Foster

He attended Trinity College School in Port Hope from 1918 to 1920 where he was awarded the Oxford Cup in 1919 and the Grand Challenge trophy in 1920.

Foster enlisted in the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada in 1940, was commissioned in 1943, and promoted to Lieutenant the following year. He served as Training Officer at Barriefield and at No. 2 District Depot until demobilized.
