Rifleman Paul Cada Sr was born on May 15, 1869 in Sheshegwaning, ON.
He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Amy and served as a Rifleman with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, 227th Battalion during World War I.
He was married to Rachael Sampson and had 7 children.
Paul was a fiddle player, a pulp wood worker and he was elected Councilor for Sheshegwaning First Nation from 1905-06 and 1908-09.
Paul passed away of natural causes at the age of 77 and is buried at the Sheshegwaning Anglican Cemetery.
