Doug Wayne Bedford, beloved husband of the late Merlyin Bedford, the love of his life, passed away at Care West Colonel Belcher nursing home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the age of 81 years.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Doug had joined the infantry in 1958, was in the Queens Own Rifles of Canada & PPCLI. He served with the NATO forces, and served on 3 missions with the UN peacekeeping operations. Doug was also in the military band as a drummer.

Doug was involved in many organizations, which included military, Shriners, and the Royal Canadian Legion.
