Bailey, William Ross

Sergeant William Ross Bailey  was born circa 1933.

Bill served his country in uniform for 41 years as both a soldier and a police officer. He was a Korean War Veteran (two tours), served with the 2nd Battalion, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, and later became a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police, retiring as a Staff Sergeant.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Joanne of 44 years, and survived by his three daughters Robin, Heather,  and Sandra .

Bill passed away 5 September 2011 at the age of 78. He was interred at the Meadowvale Cemetery, Mississauga.
