I’ve been really researching Private Williams Jacks. He attested to the 95th but died on the battlefield on October 11, 1916. I saw how you had all those great records on individual soldiers. I don’t know how to look that up. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you kindly for providing this detailed information about Private William Jacks.
It sent a chill up my spine that he received a total of five $20 monthly payments, for a grand total of $100, before succumbing to a GSW a mere handful of months in military service.
He didn’t serve long enough for any pension or death payment to his mother in England. May he rest in peace.
