My grandfather was Murray Alexander Hamilton. I have his original dishcharge papers that state his #916532 Rank Private. Enlisted in 198th Bn, March 30th, 1916. It also states he served in England and France and was discharged as medically unfit. He had incurred a gun shot wound to his left thigh on August 13, 1918, and was discharged May 28th, 1919. It also says he had a gold stripe. I am wondering how I can find out exactly where his regiment served. I know he was hospitalized in England.
