Zutphen Marker

Type
Plaque

Description
A bronze plaque was presented to the city of Zutphen by the Regiment in 2000. It was to be displayed in the town hall, but unfortunately was never installed. It was instead passed to the town of Rha, where it lies beside the stone marker which commemorates the eight riflemen Killed in Action at Rha on 6 April 1945. The Zutphen plaque commemorates 16 riflemen who died during 10 days of action in the Zutphen area in March/April 1945.
