Brought out of the vast depths of our Collection a Map of Vimy Ridge. The objective of the 3rd Battalion CEF Farbus Woods is in detail on the map. This map has the trenches from 10-10-16.

Another productive evening at the museum last night. We are slowly going through and installing new lighting in each of our cases.

We had a very productive last volunteer night at the museum. We were able to put our newly acquired Original Officers Shako on display. It is in an environmentally controlled case with Ensign McEachrans tunic from the fenian raids that he unfortunately was killed in. These both artifacts are one of a kind.

We had all hands tonight! The rest of our risors for our cases were delivered today! We decided years ago to raise all of our cases around a foot and a half.

New in our Collection last year is this 1868 dated Mess Tin. Worn on the top of the Backpack usually worn with a black canvas cover. This item was issued on exercise and not held by the individual but by regimental stores. This pattern was worn from the early 1860s till the beginning of the Second World War.
