George E. Taylor was born on 15 February  1939 in Stratford, ON.

He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army in 1956 and served with the Queen’s Own Rifles in Germany.

George was discharged in 1958 and has been a member of Stratford Legion Branch 8 for 25 years.
