Master Warrant Officer Donald George Cruickshank, CD was born in Souris, Manitoba on 19 October 1944, the son of John and Muriel Cruickshank.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Terry; his children, Sherri (Doug), Wayne (Irene), Kelly (Darrell), and his beloved grandson, Damon.

MWO Cruickshank retired after 32 years of service. He served with the 1st Battalion Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, 3rd Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and The Scottish Regiment.

Following his retirement, Don found joy and fulfilment in his life on Vancouver Island, where he embraced the local community and cherished his passion for golf.

MWO Cruickshank died in Victoria, British Columbia on 7 August 2024.
