There was an old Miss Mercer and many fruit trees despite most of the land being sold to developers. The old village there was called Eatonville. Puts his home squarely in Etobicoke about a mile from the Mississauga border.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[great site! -- I found my grandfather in the 3rd Battalion Nominal Roll 1915, and found him in the diary listed as &#039;missing&#039; -- he became a POW but was fortunate to survive and return to Canada.  I have the original telegram to my great-grandfather notifying him that his son was missing and I also have his WW1 pay book which is in mint condition.  Thank you so much for the information on this site, I truly appreciate it.]]></description>
